Skijoring competitions returned to Montana's Flathead Valley after a covid two-year hiatus. I attended the event on a brutally cold Sunday in late February. In skijoring, horses pull single skiers over a course that includes jumps and gates and rings that skiers have to grab. There are three competitive divisions: novice, sports (intermediate) and pro.
