Editor Lynn Rosen, former Western Editor of the website and guidebook SkiSnowboard.com, is an Emmy award-winning television and radio broadcaster, producer and director, and has been on the Journalism faculty at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash. She’s also a theater critic and travel writer and belongs to the American Theatre Critics Association, SATW and NASJA. Lynn is one of eight owner/contributors to highonadventure.com. She has contributed to RV Life, ConsumerTraveler.com, Cascadia Weekly, among many other publications and websites.
Web manager Steve Giordano, past president of the Society of American Travel Writers, is a veteran ski and travel journalist & photographer whose work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, books, radio and television and many places around the Internet. He's written four travel books. Steve is the designer and technologist of HighOnAdventure.com and was the online and guidebook editor of SkiSnowboard.com. He is a member of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association.
Vicki Andersen has been writing about travel, skiing, snowmobiling and motorcycling for more decades than she cares to admit. A third-generation native Oregonian, Vicki had her first skis strapped on her feet at age two by her loving Dad. This eventually led her to 26 years as a part-time Level III Certified Alpine ski instructor. Vicki has been a ski editor, associate editor, regional editor, contributing editor, regional correspondent, staff writer, features writer and/or columnist for numerous publications. An active member of SATW (Society of American Travel Writers) since 2000 and NASJA (North American Snowsports Journalists Association) since 1984. In 2000 NASJA honored her with a rare Lifetime Membership. Over 300 of her stories for more than five dozen local, regional and national outlets have included adventures in Iceland, Fiji, New Zealand, the Pacific Rim from Alaska to Hawaii, and across Central America and Mexico.

Lee Juillerat is the retired regional editor for the Klamath Falls Herald and News in Southern Oregon. He is the author of two books about Crater Lake National Park, one of his favorite places. He has taken annual swims in the lake for more than 30 years and is among the few people to have cross country skied and run around the lake on its Rim Drive. Lee is a regular contributor to Northwest Travel, Oregon Coast and Range magazines and has done stories for Horizon and Alaska Airlines inflight magazines for the past decade. He has been writing stories about places as diverse as Switzerland, Wales, Chile, New Zealand and all regions of the U.S. for HighOnAdventure for a dozen years.
Larry Turner is a productive, respected regional, national and international photographer/writer. His work has appeared in countless magazines and books, including Browntrout and Avalanche Publishers' calendars and books, American Heritage, National Geographic Traveler, Travel and Leisure, Sunset and many others. He is the co-author of the book Mount Shasta Reflections, and his photographs have appeared on covers of many books and magazines. He is an active skier, gardener, fly fisherman, and adventurer. His greatest love is spending time with his son Steen, Chef de Cuisine of the Cafe Kandahar in Whitefish, Montana..
Yvette Cardozo is a writer/photographer who loves adventure and the outdoors, specifically skiing, scuba diving and cycling. If it involves interesting food (ethnic delicacies, high arctic "country food," molecular gastronomy and whatever else is interesting or weird), so much the better. She has skied in Kashmir, India, scuba dived both the Arctic and Antarctic, run a dogsled team above the arctic circle and more. Plus, she submits photos to Getty Images, one of the world's largest stock agencies. She is also a member of SATW (Society of American Travel Writers), TJG (Travel Journalists Guild) and NASJA (North American Snowsports Journalists Association). Her stories appear in the Chicago Tribune, NY Post, Miami Herald, Dallas Morning News, among other newspapers, along with Just For Canadian Doctors, Sport Diver and several international magazines. Sylvia Blishak: As a rail enthusiast, much of my writing has involved travel by train. I am co-author, with my husband Ted, of a column called "Leisure Rail" for Passenger Train Journal.
My work has appeared in a local newspaper, The Klamath Falls Herald and News, as well as a publication for travel agents, travelmarketreport.com. I've also been published in The Specialty Travel Agent's Association newsletter, "Get Connected", and Trains Magazine.
Ted and I stopped flying back in 1997, before it became fashionable. We spend several weeks a year traveling, in a more relaxed manner, by Amtrak and the Canadian trains.
We are co-owners of a travel agency called Train Travel Consulting. We plan made-to-order trips for individuals who like to travel at their own pace. We have been listed on Conde Nast Traveler Magazine's Top Travel Specialists in the World since 2002 as "Specialists: Rail Travel, North America"
Ted Blishak: As a lifelong rail enthusiast (I got a Lionel train set at age five), I've written freelance articles for Trains Magazine. I wrote about being invited aboard a caboose, at the same early age, for Reminisce Magazine. A piece about my buddy and myself driving a pink 1959 Buick around Los Angeles appeared in the San Francisco Examiner. With my wife Sylvia, I write a column for Passenger Train Journal.
