          WILDFIRE PREVENTION by Lynn Rosen
Unless you’ve been under a rock or in a cave for the last few months, you know that we’re well into a drier-than-normal fire season this year. Whether you’re camping or hiking this summer, or staying around home, you can help prevent wildfires by reducing fire risks and following these wildfire safety tips.

        CRUISE COVID PRECAUTIONS
by Yvette Cardozo
In more normal times, boarding a large cruise ship with 3,500 strangers is not exactly high adventure. But in these weird days with the history of Covid-19 infections on cruise ships, yes, it definitely can be just that. |

TIME TRAVEL TO FORT ROCK AND MUSEUM by Lee Juillerat
Beginning in 1988, Fort Rock Valley people began gathering remnants of what the disappointed and disillusioned settlers left behind. A doctor's office, several cabins, homes, a school house, blacksmith shop and several other buildings have been relocated at the outdoor museum.

          RENAISSANCE FAIRES
            by Vicki Hoelfling Andersen

Transported back to the 16th Century I find myself at Faire. In
those days, yearly events were held to celebrate the demise of winter and resurrection
of spring. Farmers presented early crops, crafters hawked their goods, and inn
keepers tempted passersby with their most delectable dishes. |

ADVENTURING IN NEVADA AND OREGON’S OUTBACK
          by Larry Turner
The Kiger Creek expedition was the culmination of a two-week outback adventure which John and I had planned the previous year. We started with an adventure-filled week at Nevada’s Alder Creek Ranch.

          ON A SASQUATCH HUNT
                by Steve Giordano
The Sasquatch hunter who led us was a very persuasive guy who could ignite enthusiasm with his impossible stories. He had a little box of hair and rocks that he insisted came from Sasquatch and which he said he had insured with Lloyd's of London. |

          SAINT-PIERRE et MIQUELON:
The last French territory in North America by Brad Hathaway

During our sojourn through eastern Canada, we took a short side trip to France - but we didn’t cross the Atlantic Ocean to the European Continent. No, we took a ninety-minute ferry ride to a tiny outpost of French sovereignty. |

          ADA ACCESSIBLE KLAMATH
                    by Chris Wayne
We live in the Klamath Basin for many reasons, and outdoor recreation is one of the greatest appeals. I’ll focus on places in the Basin that are accessible to people with mobility impairments, and who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
